ClickUp aims to be the only tool a team needs: task management, docs, internal chat and goals, all on the same platform, so you don’t have to combine Notion, Trello and a spreadsheet separately.
ClickUp Brain, its AI layer, can summarize task threads, draft status updates and answer questions about the team’s work without someone having to manually dig through which board something ended up on. The downside is that this AI is billed separately, per paid workspace member, not just per person who uses it.
It has a permanent free plan and paid per-user plans with growing feature tiers. Worth it for teams willing to invest time in setting it up properly; for simple use, it can feel oversized at first.
